The Revit Pacer Riding Shoes are bringing that classic high top styling to you and your bike. These shoes are coming with a great mix of materials with their leather construction as well as CE certification and reinforcements. If you’re looking to keep that timeless jeans and sneakers look on and off the bike, then these are going to be a strong option. These shoes will be coming in 2 color options including a white and neon yellow and black and neon red so that you can match your bike. So, with a recommended retail price of about 150 Euros, or 180 USD, the Revit Pacer shoes will be competing with the Dainese Atipica Air, Dainese Persepolis, Revit Mission Shoes, Icon Superduty 5, Revit Jefferson Shoes, and the Revit Arrow Shoes.
Material
The Pacers are actually going to be coming with a surprisingly large mix of materials to get that optimum performance. Starting at the top by the ankle, you’re getting washed canvas for comfort. Further down you’re getting artificial leather offering the shoe its main structure with additional perforated panels in the sides, along the front, and in the tongue. At the very front of the toe and by the shifter guard, you’re also getting oiled suede leather, which will also help the shoes keep their durability. Lastly, in back, you have a reflective insert to make sure you’re seen.
Safety
To make sure you can more safely use the Pacers on your bike, Revit have given you some reinforcements. In the ankle, there is an injected protector cup while you also get a thermoformed heel cup and toe cap. To round the protective features out, the side panel has also been reinforced to give you a little bit of extra coverage. This all means that the shoe has been CE 13634 2017 certified to Level 1, which is going to be that starter level. And this is going to be the standard level for most riding sneakers, since they are lighter in construction.
Comfort
For the last few features now, we’ve got the shoes’ comfort. So, starting in the sole, the Pacers are coming with a proper amount of texture for grip and they’re not too stiff either, and they’ll break in with use as well. The shoes, clearly, tie up with a set of laces, and looking at the inside you have a soft mesh lining to help support airflow from those perforations on the outside. Lastly, the shoes are also coming with an Ortholite X40 foam inserts for comfort and a nice extra is the additional pair of laces in a different color that Revit have thrown in the box.
The Revit Pacer shoes are bringing an excellent balance of construction, airflow, style, and safety. Revit have built on past and current popular sneaker models to bring us this new offering and it is going to be bringing a strong set of features.
