Revit Quantum 2 H2O Tex Jacket Black-Red

The Revit Quantum 2 H2O Jacket is the textile version of the new Quantum 2 sports jacket for riders looking for more waterproofing and a more street focused design. The textile jacket is coming with a street-focused level of safety with CE Level 1 armor and a Class A certification for more casual city riding.

So, as far as targeting, this is going to be aimed more at sports riders looking for that Quantum styling but in a weatherproof street package. So, with a recommended retail price of about 240 Euros or 290 USD, the jacket will be competing with the Dainese Super Speed Tex and Alpinestars T-GPR V3 Jacket.

Material

The Rev’It! Quantum 2 H2O Waterproof Jacket is fully composed of a 600D polyester outer shell, which is a standard material in motorcycle riding since it is lightweight, flexible, and abrasion resistant.

In addition to this, the jacket does come with some reflectivity to make you visible with a strip in the back of the detachable hood and in the small of the back. Lastly, the jacket is prEN 17092 certified to Class A. This means that though a leather jacket may offer greater abrasion resistance, the Quantum 2 H2O is built for comfort and mobility.

Safety

For safety, the Rev’It Quantum Two H2O Jacket offers a good level for street riding since in the shoulders and elbows, you are getting CE Level 1 SEESMART protectors. These have designed to offer a fantastic level of flexibility.

For extra abrasion resistance, you’re also getting TPU external protectors that are also in keeping with a racing design.

If you want to upgrade the level of protection of the Revit jacket, which is always a good idea, there is also a space in the back for a SEESOFT CE Level 2 back protector insert. Lastly, the jacket does come with a jacket to pants zipper in the back to combine it with a pair of Revit trousers too.

Comfort

For weatherproofing, the waterproof Revit jacket is coming with a Hydratex mesh G-liner (Revit’s take on waterproof Gore-Tex). This means that, as the name implies, the moto jacket is 100% waterproof and that the Hydratex layer has been laminated onto the interior for comfort. As another weatherproofing addition to the Quantum 2 H2O, you are also getting a detachable hood that you can use once off the bike. Overall, this does make it a solid rain jacket.

Though if you do plan on some hot weather riding, Revit does offer the Revit Quantum 2 Air. This alternative jacket does not come with a detachable hood, but instead features massive amounts of mesh in the chest, back, and arms, to help keep you cool.

For adjustments, you are going to get a set of Velcro adjusters in the cuffs as well as another set around the waist to bring it in if need be. You also have another adjustment tab in the upper arms and then you get two zippered hand warmer pockets on either side of the jacket.

For the interior, you are getting a tab and a central front zipper down the front. Inside, you then come to your rain gutter, which will direct any leaking water out of the jacket, and then you have your removable thermal liner. This is held in with a zipper that runs around the interior and it has an additional inner pocket for extra storage. If you take the liner out, you then get a secondary internal pocket to replace the one in the liner.

Summary

The Revit Quantum 2 H2O Motorcycle Jacket is bringing a nice set of features. So, if you were eying the Flare 2 but wanted something a bit more sport oriented you now have your answer. You’re getting a similar 600D abrasion resistant polyester construction, a decent set of CE Level armor, full waterproofing, and even a set of external shoulder protectors.
