The Revit Sprint H2O Ladies Motorcycle Jacket is a stripped-down jacket option that is focused on keeping the basics covered. So, you are getting a more sport cut, waterproofing, a detachable thermal liner, and CE shoulder and elbow protectors, which just about covers everything you’d need in a multi-season starter jacket.
The jacket will be coming in several color options as well including black and neon yellow, and a combination of black and anthracite, neon red, and white to round out the selection, and there are men’s and women’s versions available. So, with a recommended retail price of about 170 Euros, or 200 USD, the jacket will be competing with the Icon Tarmac 2, Dainese Hydra Flux D-Dry, and Alpinestars Gravity Drystar.
Material
Starting with material, the Rev’It! Sprint H2O Ladies Textile Jacket is fully composed of 600D polyester for abrasion resistance and a decent weight. This will keep you covered in the chest, back, and sleeves, though you also have 300D hexagonal polyester highlights running along the chest, back, and front of the arms to keep things stylish.
The logo in the back will then also offer you greater visibility since it is reflective as well. Lastly, the Spring H2O has been prEN 17092 certified to class A, which means it does offer a basic level of abrasion resistance, and we’ve gone further into this topic in our jacket safety ratings video guide.
Safety
For safety, the Rev’It Sprint H2O Ladies Waterproof Jacket is coming equipped with a set of SEESMART CE Level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows, which are high abrasion zones. And, besides safety, SEESMART is mainly designed to offer a high level of flexibility and breathability as well, which are both important to have.
CE Level 1 is going to be a good starter level and will mainly cover you for standard street and city riding. If you want to upgrade the safety of the jacket, which is always a good idea, it also comes with a space for the Revit SEESOFT CE Level 2 back protector insert too. For added safety, the pants also come with jacket to pants loops in the back, which you can snap to your riding pants to keep the two together a little bit better.
Comfort
Moving on to the Revit Sprint Ladies Jacket’s comfort, it will also be covering all the basics. This means for adjustability you are mainly getting Velcro straps in the cuffs and waist, and though it would have been nice to see a bit more in the arm, this is already a good start. For storage, you are getting a set of hand warmer pockets on either side fastened with a zip.
For fastening, the jacket uses a front main zip followed by a rain gutter flap, which will mean that if water does make its way past the zipper, then it will be caught in the flap and directed down and out of the jacket. You then have a detachable thermal liner, which will help with riding in cooler conditions and there is also an internal pocket included as well for any small items. You can quickly remove the liner as well with a set of zips, and then you come to the mesh interior which will help air move around.
Lastly, to round out the Sprint’s weatherproofing, it is coming with a Hydratex G-liner, which means that it has been laminated onto the interior and will work to keep the water out while also offering some breathability.
Summary
The Revit Sprint H2O Ladies is bringing a strong set of entry level features in a sporty jacket design that means it will cover a lot of ground in terms of features. Not only is it coming with a set of SEESMART protectors, but it is waterproof and comes with an extra removable thermal liner, which will just about cover the basics.
